When we moved into our house one of the first things I noticed was a kitchen cupboard space with the doors removed. I knew exactly what I was going to do with that space, COFFEE BAR! I love the adorable coffee bars I see everywhere and was so excited to have space for one of my own! I started collecting decor and playing around with ideas immediately after moving in!
Below is a picture of the cupboard before. It had holes in the sides for shelving that I didn’t plan to use so I filled them with spackle to fill them and primed the entire thing with Kilz primer.
Next, I had leftover swiss coffee color paint from my “Sharpie Shiplap” wall so I put of a coat of that on. Finally, I stenciled with my stencil I used in my “Fireplace Makeover”. I’ve been asked if I used tile or wallpaper but it’s actually the cutest stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils! It’s called the Santa Ana stencil and they are reusable! I used Country Gray acrylic paint from Walmart for .50 and rolled it on with a dense foam roller.
Then, I got to put in all the fun goodies to make it pretty. I love my Henry Oliver Poulsen coffee mug and kitchen towel. It really has the neatest story behind it’s products. Below I’ve listed where you can find them! I got my Rae Dunn coffee mugs for our anniversary. My husbands name really is Joe! Decorating is the best part! And….
TADAH! All finished! This project was completed in an evening. I kept the colors neutral and it’s so easy to change up colors for different holidays.
I absolutely love how it turned out! Below is where I collected all my goodies that are inside from left to right.

Love this! Especially that it doesn’t take up a ton of room. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I think I can do this for tea, too. Thanks for sharing!

I love how you transformed this small area in your kitchen and gave it a whole new look and purpose. The accent stencil is my favorite part. It brings a whole other level of interest to the design.

This is really cute and a great idea. I wish I had a place to make something like this but my kitchen doesn’t have a lot of cupboards.

My other kitchen didn’t have room. Try a small armoire or stand from goodwill and make it over?? Pinterest has such cute ideas!
